Not receiving notifications

If you're not receiving notifications and you have your device's power saving feature turned on, try turning it off, you can do that by following these steps:

  • Go into your device's Settings area
  • Select "Battery"
  • Turn off the "Power saving mode" setting.

If that doesn't help, check to make sure the apps use of background data hasn't been restricted and that your device hasn't been configured to hide the app's notifications, to do that follow these steps:

  • Go into your device's Settings area
  • Select "Apps"
  • Select "Scanner Radio" or "Scanner Radio Pro"
  • Select "Data Usage" and make sure the "Restrict app background data" setting is turned off.
  • Return to the previous screen and select "Notifications"
  • Make sure the "Block all" (or a similar sounding setting) isn't turned on.

If your device only has WiFi, check its Wi-Fi sleep policy setting:

  • Go into your device's Settings area
  • Select "Wi-Fi"
  • Select "Advanced" from the menu
  • Make sure the "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" setting is set to Always.

If the above don't help, check to make sure you don't have an app (such as a battery saving app) or a setting on your device that's turning off its Wi-Fi/cellular radios when the screen turns off.
